Pedestrian struck in west end

Traffic officers are investigating following a crash in Toronto’s west end Friday afternoon, which has left a pedestrian in the hospital fighting for her life.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m., as the 65 year old woman was crossing Evans Ave., near Royal York. Reports state she crossed mid block, where there are no lights.
She was subsequently hit by a car, and suffered life threatening head injuries.
No charges have been laid at this time.
