iPad On Sale Friday

The iPad goes on sale in Canada on Friday morning and will be available at Best Buy and Future Shop stores, in addition to Apple’s retail shops.
There are sure to be lineups Friday morning at Apple’s 16 stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, which will open early at 8am.
Best Buy and Future Shop will also have the iPad at stores across the country, but quantities will be limited.
Spokesman Christopher Bennett says all six models of the iPad will be available.
The Wi-Fi models with 16, 32 and 64-gigabytes of storage are priced at $549, $649 and $749.
The 3G models $679, $779 and $879 respectively.
Bennett also advises customers should “get there early.” Staff will hand out tickets an hour before stores open to customers in line.
Bennett could not comment on how many iPads will be available or when stores would get more stock after the first shipment sells out.
