North York Shooting

A young man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in North York Wednesday evening.

The victim, 26, was struck in the abdomen at 70 Parkwoods Village Dr., in the York Mills and Victoria Park Ave. area around 6pm.

Officers allege that two men were arguing when one pulled out a gun and shot the other. His injuries are said to be life-threatening.

Police believe it was an attempted murder and are looking for a single male suspect who was seen heading west from the scene.

The suspect is described as:

black
5’8” to 5’9”
thin build
wearing a dark top and dark shorts.
