Three Durham men facing more than a dozen child porn charges

Three men from Durham Region are facing more than two dozen charges in a child pornography sweep.

Officers posed as 12 to 14-year-old girls in chat rooms on the internet.

They searched six locations last week and seized eight hard drives. Two men from Oshawa and one from Whitby face a total of 26 charges.

Police allege two of the men used a webcam to meet young girls. Investigators have released pictures of the men fearing there may be other victims.

If you recognize them contact Durham Police.

The suspects are:

  • Daryl Clarke, 22, of Oshawa, charged with possession of child porn, making child porn available and a drug charge.
  • Ronald Parr, 56, of Whitby, charged with three counts of luring.
  • Matthew Macklem of Oshawa, charged with seven counts of luring, seven counts of invitation to sexual touching, possession and distribution of child pornography.
