Heidi Montag calling it quits with Spencer Pratt

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Popular celebrity website TMZ has reported that reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have separated.
Montag’s rep told TMZ that it was her decision, as she was tired of all the “fake bad press that Spencer controls”, and she wants to move out and focus on her own acting career.
The two, who starred in “The Hills”, called the police on Montag’s mother a few weeks ago, adding to the turmoil between them. Another source close to Montag said the tension has been building for a while, and this is not a sudden decision.
TMZ reported that Montag will likely stay in Malibu – the city where she currently lives.
This past Tuesday, Montag tweeted “I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.”
