Thieves Use Feces In Distraction Robberies

Toronto police are warning the public about four separate distraction thefts in the city’s downtown since May 21.

The say while the victim makes an ATM cash withdrawal, they are squirted with feces.

The suspects, usually a group of four people, would clean their clothing and steal their cash.

The suspects (pictured) are said to be Hispanic.

People are reminded to be aware of their surroundings at all times. Anyone with information is asked to contact 52 division at (416) 808-5200 or Crime Stoppers (416) 222-TIPS.
