Pedestrian Killed On Dufferin Near St. Clair

Police are trying to identify a man who was struck and killed while crossing Dufferin Street just north of St. Clair early Thursday.

The accident happened around 1:20am. The pedestrian, believed to be in his late 40s or early 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He wasn’t carrying a wallet or any identification, but investigators believe he lived in the neighbourhood.

The man is described as:

  • White
  • Wearing thick glasses with a gold rim
  • Black slip-on loafers
  • A green denim vest and a black shirt with Keating Education Tours lettering on it

Authorities have closed down the northbound lanes of Dufferin Street in the area and haven’t yet determined if charges will be laid.
