Prowler Arrested, Facing 17 Charges

An alleged prowler has been arrested after he broke into student residences near the University of Toronto.
The suspect is now facing 17 charges and investigators believe there could be more victims.
Toronto Police allege that the break-ins occurred between March 9 and June 9 in the area bounded by Davenport Road to the north, Dundas Street to the south, Beverley Street to the east, and Spadina Avenue to the west.
The suspect allegedly engaged the women in the residences in a sexual conversation, and then fled the scene.
The majority of the victims were young Asian women.
The final alleged break-in occurred in the early-morning hours of June 9.
The suspect broke into a home around 3am and confronted a woman. He fled but was followed by a citizen who called police.
Jeffrey Fraser, 43, was arrested in the area. He has since been charged with:
- 13 counts of Break and Enter with Intent
- two counts of Attempt Break and Enter with Intent
- Fail to Comply Recognizance
- Prowl by Night.
