Arrest Made In Hit & Run

Police have made an arrest in Friday’s early morning hit and run that left a young woman in serious condition.

A man, 57 was arrested after police say he struck a 21-year old woman on Weston Rd. near Black Creek Dr.

Tips from the public lead police to the suspect’s car, a silver-coloured Nissan.

Weston Rd. was temporarily closed for the investigation. The young woman suffered a serious head injury. Charges are pending.
