HUNTSVILLE – The hundreds of police officers assigned to provide security for the leaders at the G8 summit will now have a souvenir to bring home.
The owner of Big Bear Outfitters in Huntsville has been selling “official” G8 t-shirts from his main street shop, and said most of them have already been snapped up by officials. “If we sell 200 t-shirts or 300 t-shirts, 90 percent of that is police officers”
Protest groups in Toronto have also been selling t-shirts, but these souvenirs have a very different message.
The shirts designed for the G20 suggest world leaders should “[expletive] the G20”.
