Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip Visit Research In Motion

It’s her last full day in Canada and the Queen is spending it in Ontario.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip visited Research in Motion on Monday. The Waterloo company invented the BlackBerry and the royal couple was given personalized devices.

The Queen received a virtual bouquet of flowers from students at Queen Elizabeth Public School on her new BlackBerry Bold.

“I’ve heard that the Queen and the whole Royal Family are all heavy BlackBerry users,” chief technology officer David Yach said.

Next, they went to Pinewood, a 3D film studio in Toronto, where the Queen donned special glasses to watch a Bollywood movie. That will be followed by a federal dinner in Ontario’s capital city. Prime Minister Stephen Harper will host and the Queen will give her fourth and final speech of this royal tour.
