Man pulled from east-end hotel pool

TORONTO, Ont. – A man was rushed to hospital in serious condition after he was pulled from an east-end hotel pool, Tuesday.

The man, in his 20s, was swimming in the pool at the Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites, which is located at 1250 Eglinton Avenue East.

He was taken to a trauma centre.

EMS has told 680News, a 12-year-old boy drowned in the same pool over the weekend.

He was swimming in the pool with another boy who remains in hospital.

Both boys, from Brooklyn, New York, were in town to participate in the Robbie International Soccer Tournament.
