Stop me if you’ve heard this one: a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Toronto.
Hamilton, Niagara, Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes and York-Durham are also affected by the Environment Canada warning.
We had a similar alert on Tuesday, following a steamy, sweaty day; and on Sunday; and the week before that.
Thursday’s storm – if it comes – will see heavy showers with 15 to 25 millimetres of rain, wind gusting from the southwest at anywhere from 20 to 40 kilometres an hour, and a low of 21C.
We’ll get more rain and clouds on Friday, just in time for the weekend.
