St. Catharines man faces numerous sexual assault charges

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – A 41 year old man faces 15 charges in the sexual assaults of six young girls.

Niagara Regional Police launched an investigation in March 2009, when a 10 year old girl came forward, saying she was sexually assaulted.

During the investigation, detectives discovered five other girls had been victimized over a period of 20 years.

Each victim was between 10 and 15 years old when the incidents occurred.

Shawn Michael Dunn of St. Catharines is being held by police pending a bail hearing set for late July.
