Missing mother of murder suspect reports to police

TORONTO, Ont. – Police have located the mother of a man wanted in connection with first degree murder charges.

Milada Ponjarac, 47, was last heard from Saturday morning, when she called the hospital where she works as a nurse to say she would not be coming in.

Upon seeing her photo attached to a missing person’s release, the woman reported to 52 Division late Friday evening.

Police allege Ponjarac’s 22 year old son, Marko Pandurevic, allegedly fatally stabbed 25 year old Dimitry Savenkov in the parking lot of their apartment building.

Pandurevic is still at large.
