6.9-magnitude earthquake strikes Ecuador

AMBATO, Ecuador – The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 6.9-magnitude earthquake has struck Ecuador, about 140 kilometres east of Ambato, Thursday.

It was centered 185 kilometres below the surface.

It’s not yet known if there are injuries or damage.
