Weekend events to check out

TORONTO, Ont. – It’s going to be another busy weekend in the city!

The India Day Celebration and Grand Parade will take place Saturday at Yonge-Dundas Square. The event kicks off with a flag hosting at 10 a.m., followed by a 2 kilometre parade down Yonge Street,  and a party in the square until 8 p.m.

But that isn’t it! There will be a completely different vibe during the 7th Annual Church Street Fetish Fair in the Church-Wellesley Village, running from 10 a.m. to midnight, Sunday.

And finally, there’s the Mitsubishi City Chase Powered By Blackberry event, Saturday. Teams of two will take on challenges across the city. The urban adventure aims to raise money for Right to Play, an organization that improves the lives of poor children around the world.
