Victim from Tuesday shooting identified

TORONTO, Ont. – A 24-year-old man who was shot and killed in the Flemington Park area has been identified as Toronto’s Randy Anthony Malcolm.

Police received a call for the sound of gunshots in the Cather Crescent/Trafford Lane area around 8 p.m., Tuesday night.

Officers discovered Malcolm, who had been hit by a bullet, at the rear of 41 Cather Crescent.

He died in hospital from the injuries, Wednesday.

The suspect wanted in this case is described as a black male, short hair, muscular build, 6′ – 6′ 2″, 240 lbs, and in his early 20’s.

A post-mortem examination will be scheduled.
