Weekend Road Closures

It might be a good weekend to leave your car in the garage: five events are causing road closures all over the city.

Taste of the Kingsway Festival
Bloor Street West is closed from Prince Edward Drive to Montgomery Road. That starts Saturday, September 11 at 6am and will end Sunday, September 12 at 11pm. Closures will include several side streets, but Royal York will remain open.

Junction Arts Festival
Dundas Street West is closed from Runnymede Road to Annette Street. That starts Saturday, September 11 at 6am and will end Sunday, September 12 at 11pm. Closures will include several side streets, but Keele Street will remain open.

Cabbagetown Festival
Parliament Street will be closed from Gerrard Street to Wellesley Street. That starts Saturday, September 11 from 8:30am to 10:30pm.

Parliament Street will be closed from Carlton Street to Wellesley Street will be closed on Sunday, September 12 from 9:30am to 10:30pm.

Mural unveiling on Lawrence Avenue bridge over Highland Creek
Two westbound lanes on Lawrence Avenue East between Galloway Road and Orton Park Road will be closed from 8am to 5pm on Saturday September 11. One westbound lane will remain open on Saturday, September 11.

The eastbound lanes will not be affected.

Toronto Police ‘Winged Wheels’ performance

Bay Street will be closed from Queen Street to Dundas Street. That starts at 1:30pm on Sunday September 12 and ends at 2:30pm.
