Lots of rain expected for the GTA in next 24 hours

Take the umbrella when you leave home on Thursday – you are going to need it within the next 24 hours.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement covering parts of southern Ontario, including the GTA, warning of 15 to 25 millimetres of rain.
Meantime, 40 millimetres of rain is expected in areas that receive prolonged heavier rain bands or a thunderstorm or two.
