Fall arrived Wednesday night, began with full moon

TORONTO, Ont. – It’s the first full day of fall, Thursday, and for the first time in almost 20 years, it began with a full moon.

Fall officially arrived at 11:09 p.m. Wednesday.

The harvest moon, with Jupiter right below it, were the two brightest objects in the sky and marked the change of seasons.

Normally, the harvest moon arrives a few days or weeks before the beginning of fall.
