A strike planned for Monday morning has been averted.
Workers at southern Ontario CAA officers – but not roadside assistance – had threatened a job action following a labour dispute.
However, the two unions and management reached a tentative agreement on Sunday night. About 130 employees are represented by the United Steelworkers and the Canadian Auto Workers.
The two-year agreement has not yet been ratified.
