Nuit Blanche 2010 To Feature Over 130 Art Projects

Walking the streets of Toronto, you see a giant helium-filled bunny, toilets in a pond and light projections at city hall. You must be out for Nuit Blanche!

Scotiabank’s annual outdoor arts festival is on Saturday, Oct 2. The all-night event will start at exactly 6:57 p.m., and will run until sunrise.

Last year, an estimated one million people were on the streets of Toronto exploring the designated zones filled with contemporary art. Featuring both independent projects and exhibitions, Nuit Blanche 2010 is going to be big.

This year will feature more than 130 free art projects within three zones. The zones cover all of downtown Toronto.

This sounds like quite a large area (and don’t be fooled; it is), but with the help of Nuit Balnche’s navigation tools, getting around to see the projects will be easy.

My Night is an online itinerary builder that helps organize your route for the night.  You can also plan your route on your Blackberry or iPhone with the Night Navigator App.

The TTC will have a special event Nuit Blanche day pass for sale at a set price of $10.
