Two men dead in west-end shooting

TORONTO, Ont. – Two young men are dead and police are on the hunt for suspects after a shooting in the city’s west end Wednesday night.
The gunfire erupted outside an apartment building at 1765 Weston Rd., near Lawrence Avenue, at around 10:30 p.m.
An 18-year-old was shot in the head and died in hospital Wednesday night, while a 23-year-old was shot in the stomach and died later in hospital on Thursday.
It appears one of the victims was shot beside a car and collapsed. The other victim was chased and gunned down.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
