Weekend Road Closures

This weekend, Toronto is getting ready to paint the town white as the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche arts festival takes over the downtown core. As well, the Run For The Cure takes off at Queen’s Park.
Of course, that means drivers in the city are in for a series of road closures.
Starting at 7pm on October 2, the following routes will be shut down for Nuit Blanche:
- Yonge Street, between Front Street and Bloor Street West
- Bloor Street West, between Yonge Street and Bedford Road
- Bay Street, between Dundas Street West and Richmond Street West
- Queen Street East, between Victoria Street and University Avenue
They’ll reopen on October 3 at 7am.
Run for the Cure closures will start on October 3 at 10am and end at 12:30pm
- University Avenue, Queen’s Park Crescent, and Queen’s Park will be closed from Edward Street to Bloor Street West
- Bloor Street West will be closed from St. George Street to Queen’s Park
Firefighters Memorial
- The northbound lanes of Queen’s Park Crescent from College Street to Grosvenor Street will be closed on October 3 from 9am to 3pm
