Divers search for missing boater in Lake Simcoe

Divers are searching for a missing man after a boating mishap in Lake Simcoe, Sunday.
Police from York Regional and Barrie began searching the Pasadena Marina area in Cook’s Bay shortly after 2 p.m.
York Regional Police told 680News the missing boater is a 20-year-old male.
There have been reports he is from the town of Georgina.
Two other men on the boat were rescued and transferred to the hospital where they were treated for hypothermia.
Police say the men were hanging on to their craft in the freezing water for over two hours until they were spotted by other boaters.
A search and rescue plane from CFB Trenton was also called in to assist in the search.
