Candidates Face Off At Latest Mayoral Debate

The four leading mayoral candidates faced off at yet another debate at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts on Thursday night.
The subject of the debate was “Sustainability, the Environment, and Community: What will the new mayor do to improve sustainability and engage Torontonians in their vision for the health and design of the city?”
Candidates Rob Ford, George Smitherman, Joe Pantalone and Rocco Rossi battled it out, while CityNews viewers judged their performances using our online chat.
Former Toronto Star publisher John Honderich moderated the debate. CityNews reporter Francis D’Souza, John Stall of 680News and Vanessa Lu of the Toronto Star made up the panel.
