Power Outages Hit East End

Two power outages early Monday affected a large swath of the city’s east end, but crews managed to get the lights back on hours later.
The first power-out happened just after midnight in an area of Scarborough. Power was restored to most customers by 3am, although a few residences still couldn’t turn the lights on around 8am.
And another outage happened in the Bayview and Millwood area around 5am. Power was fully restored to that area by 9am, Toronto Hydro said.
