An OPP cruiser had to be pulled out of a ditch on Tuesday morning.

The officers may have been responding to responding to a medical emergency at the 401 Express and the Allen. A driver was found inside his car on the side of the road and given CPR at the scene.

Meanwhile, the OPP officers slid into an embankment near Black Creek. It happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, slowing down traffic on the busy corridor for much of the morning rush.

The officers are expected to be fine.
