Major Storm Weakens As It Hits The GTA

A devastating storm that struck Chicago Tuesday morning didn’t quite pack the same punch when it swept the Toronto area Tuesday evening.
The system brought powerful wind gusts and heavy rains to Chicago, but seemed to ease up as it headed north of the border.
While the rain is expected to continue until Wednesday morning, temperatures will remain pleasant with a high of 16C Wednesday.
Meanwhile in Chicago, they are still picking up the pieces. Experts have described the storm as the wors in more than 70 years.
Numerous flights to the city have been cancelled from Pearson Airport.
