Two Suspects At Large After Markham Home Invasion

York Regional Police are hunting for two suspects after a home invasion robbery in Markham Monday night.

Detectives say around 7pm, two masked men forced their way into a house on Boswell Road, near Highway 407 and Ninth Line. The suspects allegedly assaulted two women inside, aged 91 and 43, before fleeing with a purse and a BMW.

Toronto police found the abandoned BMW near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West.

The victims described the first suspect as South Asian, about 20 years old, with a thin build and black, curly hair. He was wearing a baseball hat.

The second suspect is South Asian, about 20 years old, shorter than the first suspect, with a medium build. He was wearing a ski mask and a brown track-suit and was armed with a handgun.
