Annual banned words list for 2011

Lake Superior State University in Michigan is out with its annual list of words that should be banished for misuse, overuse and general uselessness.
“Viral” topped the list of words that we don’t want to hear in 2011.
Other words that made the annual list were “epic”, “wow factor”, “a-ha moment”, “backstory”, “man-up” and using “Facebook” and “Google” as verbs.
