Guitar Hero to play its final tune

Just a couple years ago, Guitar Hero games were all the rage in the video game world — the chance to wail on a fake guitar, in your best impression of your favourite rock star, was something that appealed to both gamers and non-gamers alike.
But since that time, the market has been flooded with music games like Rock Band, Band Hero and DJ Hero, and declining sales have spelled the end of Guitar Hero.
The studio that makes the game said consumers have seen the final Guitar Hero game, at least for now.
Activision Studios said there is a chance the franchise could come back in the future, but for now, they are going focus their attention on the wildly popular Call of Duty franchise.
