Man charged following stabbing on Dawes Road

TORONTO, On. – A Toronto man has been charged with attempted murder and assault after a man was stabbed several times Sunday evening.
Just after 9:00, police were called to 390 Dawes Road, near Victoria Park, where they found a 39 year old man with five stab wounds to the back and one to the neck.
He remains in serious condition.
Police told 680News that three suspects were taken into custody immediately, where Glenford Johnson, 25, was charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon with aggravated assault.
There’s no word on what had sparked the confrontation.
