Halton Region child sex abuse investigators have made a second arrest in a human trafficking case.

David Mackay Stone, 24, of Mississauga is charged with several offences, including gang sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, human trafficking and unlawful confinement.

Stone is due in court Friday in Milton.

The arrests follow a lengthy, multi-jurisdictional investigation across southern Ontario.

Police said the investigation continues to identify others involved in the case, and investigators want to hear from anyone with information.
