VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The four BC NDP candidates racing to become the next leader of their party stuck together once again during the taping of a debate in Vancouver today.
Adrian Dix, Dana Larsen, Mike Farnworth and John Horgan discussed several issues, including bridge tolls, gambling and Medicare premiums.
Farnworth, who is considered the front-runner, tried to stand out from his fellow hopefuls the most. “I’m the most electable of all the candidates. I think the public knows that from my campaign, I think the membership believes that. That to me is what the next election is going to be about. It’s who can defeat Christy Clark and the Liberals, and I am the candidate who is able to do that.”
The party chooses its new leader next weekend, and News1130 will have full coverage from the floor of the NDP leadership convention.
