Woman charged for allegedly stealing cheques from seniors home

Police charged a former office manager at an east end seniors’ home this week for allegedly stealing cheques belonging to residents.
Authorities claim the 47-year-old woman took rent cheques, estate refund cheques, tax returns and other government cheques between January 2008 and April 2010. Police allege the woman defrauded the Leisureworld Caregiving Centre – O’Connor Gate, near Victoria Park and O’Connor, out of $200,000.
Investigators believe there may be more victims.
Kimberly Pavlovich was arrested Wednesday and was charged with two counts of fraud and possession of property obtained by crime. She appeared in court the day of her arrest.
