Ornge Ted Rogers Paediatric Transport Program launches in Markham

MARKHAM, On. – If you’re at the cottage or outside of the Greater Toronto Area this summer, you may sleep better at night knowing that special airborne paediatric medical help is just minutes away.
Ontario’s air ambulance service Ornge and Rogers have teamed up to make that a reality.
The Ornge Ted Rogers Paediatric Transport Program will officially launch in Markham, On., Thursday afternoon.
The program involves a special new team of paramedics and nurses who will provide specialized medical transport to Ontario’s youngest patients in Ornge land ambulances, airplanes and helicopters.
Ornge is the world’s leading innovator in the emerging field and air transport medicine, and operates from a number of bases across Ontario.
