Vieira says goodbye to the “Today” show

Meredith Vieira said her goodbyes to NBC’s “Today” show Wednesday morning.

The popular morning show co-host is ending her five-year run.  

“[I have] very mixed emotions,” she said about her decision to step down. “I know it’s right, but it’s hard.”

“Today” show veteran Ann Curry will take over for Vieira.
