Boy drowns in Niagara Falls motel pool

NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – Niagara police have confirmed to 680News that a 13-year-old boy has drowned at a motel.
Police said they were called to the A-1 motel on Lundy’s Lane shortly after 8 p.m., Tuesday, after the boy had been pulled from the outdoor motel pool and was un-responsive.
Authorities say the boy was without vital signs when Police, Ambulance and Fire arrived.
He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the boy was visiting the popular tourist destination. There have been reports the boy was from Quebec.
Police continue to investigate.
