Man stabbed near Yonge and Eglinton

A 31-year-old man was stabbed in midtown overnight.
The attack, which may have stemmed from a perceived slight, happened around 1:30 a.m. on Eglinton Avenue East at Redpath, just west of Mt. Pleasant Road.
The victim was taken to Sunnybrook hospital with a stab wound to the back and a slashed arm.
He has a collapsed lung and is in serious, but stable, condition.
Police are searching for two young men who reportedly fled after the altercation.
