Driver charged with impaired after pedestrian hit

A man is facing charges, including impaired driving, after he hit a pedestrian and then crashed his car into a building near Yonge and Finch Monday morning.
The incident happened just before 5 a.m. on Northtown Way. The female pedestrian was rushed to Sunnybrook. Her injuries are said to be non life-threatening.
The driver was taken to a local hospital and has since been released.
He’s facing charges of impaired driving, criminal negligence causing bodily harm and other offences.
