Occupy protesters plan “evict Rob Ford” march for Saturday

TORONTO, Ont. – After a temporary victory over City Hall, Occupy Toronto protesters say they are planning an “evict Rob Ford” march for Saturday.

It’s not known how many people will participate or what exactly the protesters plan to do, except that the proposed start time would be 2 p.m.

Some members of the movement say some labour unions may also take part in the march.

It was a tense day at the occupy camp Tuesday, after city bylaw officers handed out eviction notices to the occupiers.

The occupiers reacted by having their lawyer, Susan Ursel, get an injunction from Justice David Brown to prevent the occupiers being evicted until Saturday at the earliest, when he is expected to make a decision.

After avoiding the eviction occupiers celebrated late into the night.
