The Distillery District is decked out for the holidays Friday for the start of the Lowe’s Toronto Christmas market.
It’s a European-style market with hundreds of unique and local handcrafted products and even a reindoor zoo for the kids and a mulled wine garden for the adults.
The markets originated in Germany in the early 1400s and are now held around the world.
A 45-foot white spruce is on site, decorated with over 18,000 lights and ornaments. The market opens at 6 p.m. Friday and will stay open until December 18.
