Smiths Falls water safe to drink again after days on boil-water advisory

SMITHS FALLS, Ont. – Officials in Smiths Falls, Ont., say the town’s tap water is once again safe for drinking.

A boil-water advisory that had been in place since Tuesday has been lifted.

The advisory was issued after a contractor accidentally ruptured a water main.
