Police find grenade launcher, replica AK-47 assault rifle in raid

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police raided an apartment in the city’s northwest end, Thursday evening, and uncovered a fully-operational grenade launcher and a replica AK-47 assault rifle.
The apartment is located in the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue area.
“It does impress me that they moved very quick,” Viviana, who lives in the neighbourhood, said. “But it does also make me think of how many other apartments may have that and they still don’t know about it,”
Police told 680News they don’t have a suspect in custody, but are close to making an arrest.
Police also found a large quantity of ammunition.
