Missing East Gwillimbury man found safe in Toronto

A 64-year-old East Gwillimbury man who’s been missing for a week has been found in good health.

York Regional Police said Rocco Morra was found in Toronto.

Police had sent out a release late last week asking for help in finding the man who is required to take daily medication for schizophrenia and diabetes.

Morra was staying at a group home in the Leslie Street and Mount Albert Road area, where he was last seen hitchhiking around 1 p.m. on Dec. 13.

Morra is now with his family.
