Doodhnaught baby’s mother arrested and charged

The mother of baby George Doodhnaught is now facing charges. The nine-week old baby, who has been missing since November, is believed to be dead.
Nadia Ayyad, 23, of Woodbridge, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count each of indignity to a dead body and failing to provide the necessities of life.
The police search for the baby began in early November and investigators say they believe that is when his body was disposed of.
Detective John Braybrook with York Regional Police told 680News that there is little he can say about the ongoing investigation.
“Due to the sensitivity of this ongoing search, the homicide units are not at liberty to share information with regards to the investigative stats being employed by homicide investigators,” he explained.
His father, Rick Doodhnaught, was arrested earlier this month and is expected to face more charges next week.
Doodhnaught recently told police his son was dead, but the baby’s body has not been found.
