Leafs goalie drops behind in votes for All-Star Game

Toronto’s starting goalie has been bumped out of the lineup for the NHL All-Star Game.

James Reimer is now more than 10-thousand votes behind Boston’s Tim Thomas for a spot on the roster.

With Reimer out, the Leafs only have two players in line to make the team– forward Phil Kessel and Defenceman Dion Phaneuf.

Hockey fans get to vote three forwards, two defenceman and one goalie onto the starting squads for the All-Star game.

The deadline to get votes in is midnight, Wednesday.

The NHL All-Star Game takes place on January 29 in Ottawa.
