Canadian Coca Cola headquarters slated for closure

TORONTO, Ont. – The days are numbered for Canada’s Coca Cola headquarters on Overlea Boulevard.
According to The Toronto Star, the company will leave its Thorncliffe Park home next year, and move into a three-storey addition to the Toronto Sun building on King St. E.
Meanwhile, fans of Mad Men-era architecture are hoping the old building can be saved, but there is no word at this time on what will happen to the bronze sculpture of interlocking coke bottles at the structure’s entrance.
